Repair Cafés (already over 2,200 worldwide) are openly accessible community places and they’re all about repairing things (together). These particular workshops provide tools and materials to help you make any repairs you need – be it in clothes, furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, et cetera. Repair Cafés are supported by expert volunteers, with repair skills in all kinds of fields. Thus, even as an unskilled guest, you can bring your broken items from home and can ask the specialists for some helping hand. If you have nothing to repair, you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, lend a hand with someone else’s repair job, or get inspired at the reading table – by leafing through books on repairs and DIY.
